      <image:caption>We all experience some form of stress, difficult emotions, or painful life circumstances. These can be caused by a variety of things including life transitions, loss, work stress, or relationship challenges. It can be difficult to navigate these experiences and the emotions that come with them. You may find yourself “stuck” and in need of some help managing or dealing with them. Therapy can be a useful tool that may help give you a better understanding of some of your emotions and behaviors, and ultimately help you heal using the innate strengths and abilities you possess.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>My clinical approach is integrative in nature, and since therapy is collaborative and dynamic, I try to tailor my approach to your needs and style. I utilize techniques from a number of different evidence-based therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, and mindfulness based approaches. I also work from a strengths-based model where you are the expert of your own life and experiences and we use these to your advantage in therapy.  Using the strengths that make you a unique individual in the therapeutic process, I trust in your ability to change and grow.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Every therapist has a different style that works for them, and there is definitely no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I encourage everyone to seek the right fit for your individual therapeutic needs. My therapeutic style can best be described as open, genuine, and direct, but also humorous. I enter the therapeutic relationship with my clients with compassion, curiosity, and honesty. It is vital to me that we create a trusting and safe environment where we can communicate openly with one another. We will go at your speed and address the issues that are most important to you. My aim is that our work together will help facilitate and promote your personal growth and change in a number of ways.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Individual therapy is a joint process between therapist and client that allows the client to get support and experience personal growth during difficult times.</image:title>
      <image:caption>Currently, I offer individual psychotherapy sessions for teens and adults who reside in CA or WA. Sessions are 50 minutes in length and generally occur on a weekly basis. However, based on the presenting issues, client’s needs, and client’s schedule, this may be adjusted.</image:caption>
